Looking forward to: All of the Easter festivities coming up this weekend.

This week the baby is approximately the size of a peach, at 1.52 oz in weight, and 3.42 inches in length.

"He is now twisting and turning all the tiny joints in the body, and continually moving around inside your uterus. Lanugo - the tiny hairs present all over a baby's body - is growing. These will eventually form the fingerprints pattern on his fingers. His skin is very translucent at this point and all the tiny veins in the body are visible. The lungs continue to develop and he is practicing breathing with the amniotic fluid on a regular basis. He may already be sucking its thumb by now. Your peach-sized baby can now frown, grimace and squint and his reflexes are becoming strong and more frequent. If you're expecting twins, it won't be long before you will feel like there is a wrestling match happening inside. His arms are now proportionate to the body, but the legs are still somewhat shorter."

*Had weird feelings twice now. Once this past week, once last week. I was at my parents' house, sitting at the dining room table, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, felt a huge kick, or at least what felt like one. Not like a little flutter like should start happening soon, but like the kind of kick I would get from Sophia when she was 30+ weeks. It was really strange and unexplainable.

**Still haven't gotten to have an ultrasound done yet. Had a lot of drama with insurance this past week, and was finally able to switch it to a plan that will actually be accepted by people and get me seen. Unfortunately, the processing they said could take up to 20 days. I'm praying it goes through sooner though as I need to get my dating scan done, so that I can get my penta scan done, which can only be done during a few short weeks that are coming up really quickly. They told me to call this coming Friday to see if it's been processed faster. The good news is, they are making it retroactive through the first of the year, so I'll be covered for everything I've had so far.
